Privacy Policy

Nideyatech ("we", "us", "our") builds SiteVault and other digital products. This policy explains what information we collect through SiteVault (web and mobile apps), why we collect it, and how it's protected. It applies wherever this policy is linked from, including the SiteVault app on Google Play.

Information we collect

SiteVault is a budget and expense-tracking tool used by organizations and their teams. To do that, we collect:

• Account information — name, username and a securely hashed password when your organization creates your account. We never store passwords in plain text.
• Expense and budget data you enter — amounts, dates, work types, descriptions, and site/budget assignments.
• Receipt photos you choose to upload — via your device camera or photo library, attached to an expense entry. These are stored either on our servers or with our image-hosting provider (Cloudinary), depending on how your organization's deployment is configured.
• Basic technical data — standard server request logs (e.g. IP address, timestamps) generated automatically by normal app usage, used only for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't do

• We don't run ads, and we don't use advertising or analytics tracking SDKs in the app.
• We don't sell your data, ever.
• We don't share your data with third parties, except the infrastructure providers needed to run the app itself (see below).

Who we share data with

Only the infrastructure providers required to operate SiteVault:

• MongoDB Atlas — hosts the application database.
• Cloudinary — hosts receipt/expense photos, where configured.
• Google Cloud Platform — hosts the application server.

Each acts only on our instructions and doesn't use your data for their own purposes.

Camera and photo permissions

The Android app requests camera access solely so you can photograph a receipt and attach it to an expense. Photos are only accessed when you actively choose to take or select one — the app doesn't access your camera or photo library in the background.

Data retention

We keep your account and expense data for as long as your organization's account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting reasons.

Security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to expense and budget data is restricted by role within your organization's account.

Children's privacy

SiteVault is a business tool and isn't directed at, or knowingly used by, children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
